April 29, 2010, a Thursday
Parker (K to K2), Colorado, USA
— Finished a stock submission, moved, and visited folks
I had my normal breakfast then processed images for a stock submission (below). We prepped the RV to move, then started moving it around 10:15 to JB's mother's (K2's) place across the street. All of the vehicles on the block were covered with dirt, like dust had blown in and collected on the wet vehicles. We learned later in the day that the dust was from Arizona or Utah where high winds had picked it up into the atmosphere and then the rain overnight had dropped it here. We parked the RV in the driveway behind her house, and were level, hooked up to electricity, and had the slide out by 10:40. We left around 10:50 in the Jeep.

We picked up J's long-time friend KL at her place in Denver and took her ...

To Lucile's in Denver for lunch. I had Gumbo and J had a Cheese Omelet. My Gumbo came with cornbread, and J's omelet came with a biscuit, and we swapped them because I prefer Lucile's biscuits and J prefers cornbread. I had some blueberry jam instead of the usual strawberry rhubarb jam, and while I love blueberries, I think the strawberry rhubarb jam goes better with the biscuit. The Gumbo was delicious and J enjoyed her omelet. J bought five bags of tea on our way out.

We returned to KL's place and showed her some of our work on the internet. We left around 2:30.

We went to a car wash at a Conoco gas station to remove the nasty layer of dirt that was all over the Jeep. It was so much nicer to be able to see out the side windows after we washed it. :)

We went to J's father F's in Denver to visit and so J could take care of some of her things in storage there. We all left in separate vehicles and ...

We went to Cheddar's Casual Café to take F out for his birthday. I had Grilled Salmon and J had the Grilled Chicken Pecan Salad again. The salmon was on the dry side, but still OK.

We returned to the RV around 7:05 and I worked up a blog entry. I processed the final few images for a stock submission and then uploaded to my agent.
