May 31, 2010, a Monday
Fort Collins (E&SilJ) to Parker (K2), Colorado, USA
— Hung out with E&SilJ then rearranged J's storage space
I got out of bed before J and pussyfooted around the RV. I processed five images for the blog and responded to some email. After J was awake, I did my exercises including some regular pushups for the first time since spraining my right thumb. I started some laundry then started to work up a blog entry. J went for a walk with E&SilJ (that's J's daughter E and son-in-law J's) and I stayed in the RV to finish the blog entry and handle the laundry. J returned from the walk around 9:10.

We went into E&SilJ's place around 9:30 and J started making a big breakfast for everyone: cheese omelets, potatoes, whole-wheat toast, and OJ. We hung out with E&SilJ for a while, then said good-bye.

We returned to the RV around 11:00. We checked email then prepped the RV to move and left around 11:35 with me in the RV and J following in the Jeep.

On our way out of town, we stopped at the Breeze Thru Car Wash to wash the Jeep. It's a nice cheap drive-through car wash with free vacuums. J drove the Jeep through to get it washed, then I helped her vacuum the interior. We hooked up the Jeep to tow, and got underway around 12:10.

We headed south on I-25 and I had two Clif Bars for lunch then listened to an episode of Car Talk.

We stopped at J's father's in Denver so J could visit her things in storage there. She had asked me to join her so that I could help her shuffle things around so that two boxes that weren't very accessible, and that she accessed frequently, were more accessible. In the process of moving things around, we sorted and repacked items and took lots of things with us to get rid of.

We reached our nice parking space in Parker Colorado around 4:25. After setting up camp and checking email, I left in the Jeep by myself and ...

Went to Home Depot to buy some 1/8-inch (4mm) wire rope to make a snake to clean out our bathroom sink drain that was running slowly.

I returned to the RV and turned the wire rope into a snake by bending back one set of strands to make a hook. Then I cleaned out the bathroom sink drain, and was surprised at how little was stuck.

We had dinner around 6:20 of a grilled chicken salad because it was so hot outside — about 87°F (31°F)!

After dinner, I prepared the images that were selected from my last stock submission and then uploaded them while putting away the rest of my laundry.
