June 9, 2010, a Wednesday
Parker (K2), Colorado, USA
— Finally got an iPad 3G, and went to the MHWPC meeting
I awoke around my normal time, around 6:00, and had my usual breakfast of a bowl of Post Raisin Bran and a cup of LavAzza Gran Filtro Dark Roast coffee. Then I worked up a blog entry. We left around 8:00 and ...

Walked around the neighborhood.

We returned to the RV around 8:30 and I did some computer work. J discovered that the Best Buy at Park Meadows had a 64GB iPad 3G in stock!

I had lunch around 11:55 of Clif Bars because my ham, Swiss, and rye had been in the freezer until about half an hour earlier and hadn't thawed yet. I called the Best Buy in Park Meadows to confirm that they had a 64GB iPad 3G in stock, and they had more than one. :) I called MacMall and canceled the order with them. I did some more computer work, then helped prep the RV to move. We left around 12:55 with me in the RV and J in the Jeep.

We went to SJ&DilK's (J's Son J and Daughter-in-law K's) to dump, take on water, do laundry, and watch the grandkids while DilK ran errands. After I dumped using our Flojet Macerator Pump, I put in a load of laundry. Before loading up on fresh water, I added air to the bubble in the hot water heater. (You may read how I did that on my blog entry for December 28, 2009.) The enlarged air bubble really smoothed out the water flow in the RV. :) After I transferred the load of laundry to the dryer, I left in the Jeep by myself.

I went to the Best Buy in Park Meadows to purchase a 64GB iPad 3G. Then I went to the nearby Lukas Liquor Superstore to pick up some supplies.

I returned to SJ&DilK's just in time to take the laundry out of the dryer. Then I hung out with the grandkids until DilK returned and J finished her laundry.

We returned "home" around 4:35.

We went to the Hickory House in Parker for dinner around 5:35. We split an Early Bird Smoked Pork Dinner. We hadn't been there in a long time, and we enjoyed it.

We went by the post office then went to WalMart to pick up a few things.

We went to The Wildlife Experience for the Mile High Wildlife Photography Club (MHWPC) meeting at 7:00. We weren't too excited to hear the program that was about the Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center, and it was even less interesting than we thought it would be. Three of our images placed in the monthly competition. J's Broad-Billed Hummingbird (left) came in 3rd in Master's Wildlife, my Prairie Wild Onion (below left) came in 3rd in Master's Scenic, and my The Organ With Rough Mulesears (below right) came in 2nd in Master's Scenic.

We returned to the RV around 9:45 and I did some computer work before going to bed.
