September 24, 2010, a Friday
Wasatch Mountain State Park to Uinta National Forest, Utah, USA
— Worked on the RV then moved after getting evicted
I got up before J and pussyfooted around the RV until J got up. After J got out of bed, I had my usual breakfast then processed three images for the blog. Then I worked up a blog entry.

I had lunch around 11:55 while reading some of the October 2010 Outdoor Photographer that focused on photographing fall color. :) Then I installed J's new IKEA Beryll 12VDC swiveling halogen light over the bed so J can read in bed without using a head lamp. As I was doing that, J made a batch of Teriyaki Marinade and started marinating a flatiron steak. Then we turned on the generator for about half an hour so we could run our Dyson DC24 vacuum to vacuum the whole inside of the RV. It had gotten quite dusty lately, and it was good to get it clean again. As we were vacuuming, a friendly State Park ranger knocked on our door and told us that we couldn't camp where we were camped. We weren't surprised because we thought it was too good to be true. After we finished vacuuming, we started to prep the RV to move and I left in the Jeep around 4:10 to explore up into the Uinta National Forest to see if we could get the RV up to a boondocking spot we discovered while driving there before.

The dirt road was steep and a bit rough, but we could get the RV up there. :)

I returned to the RV around 4:40 and did a few things online before we left around 4:55 with me in the RV and J following in the Jeep.

We reached the new boondocking spot around 5:15. There was a decent view, pretty good solar-electric potential, and a Verizon Broadband Access signal. After we set up camp, I started the grill.

We had dinner around 6:00 of the grilled marinated flatiron steak and a California medley of veggies (broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots). I also had a glass of Charles Shaw Merlot, and it was nice to relax over dinner while looking out at the aspens around our campsite that were starting to turn yellow.

J did the dishes while I put away the grill and did some things online. Then I prepared the 105 images that were selected from my last stock submission. J went to bed a little early to take advantage of the new IKEA Beryll 12VDC swiveling halogen light over the bed to read without using a headlamp.
