near Capitol Reef National Park to Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument (near Boulder), Utah, USA

We got up around our usual time and it was raining steadily. I had my usual breakfast and turned on the generator around 8:00 for half an hour. We prepped the RV to move and J left around 9:15 in the Jeep with our laundry to go get that started, and it was snowing lightly. I put some rocks in a gully between our boondocking spot and UT-24 to make it easier to get the RV out, then I left in the RV around 9:25.
I went to the campground in Capitol Reef National Park to dump and take on water. The clouds broke and there was wonderful blue sky with photogenic clouds.
I went to the Texaco in Torrey to get some propane in the RV, and there was no one there who was qualified to pump it.
I went to an RV park in Torrey around 10:45 to meet up with J who was doing our laundry. There were only four small washers and four small dryers, and the dryers weren't very efficient. We ended up running the dryers twice to get the clothes dry. While waiting for the dryers to do their thing, I hooked up the Jeep to tow, had lunch, and worked up a blog entry. Several short snow showers went by while we were there. The clothes were finally all dry by 1:05, and we left around 1:15.
We went to the Sinclair in Bicknell around 1:40 to get propane, and while waiting for another vehicle to move away from the propane tank, a guy associated with the gas station came over to see if we needed propane. He explained that they just ran out of propane, but they're the local distributor and their home-delivery truck would be back "in a few minutes" and we'd be able to get propane then. We topped off the RV and filled up the Jeep with gas at $2.829/gal, then we parked the RV across the street to wait for the propane truck to arrive. J started to marinate a flatiron steak in our favorite Teriyaki Marinade and I did some computer work. We returned to the Sinclair propane tank after the propane truck left, and got our propane tank filled. We left around 2:50 and headed back east on UT-24 to Torrey.
J discovered a Ziplock bag of cashews in the storage area of our doghouse (the cover over the engine that sticks into our cab) that had been eaten through by our mouse guest.
We stopped at the Chukwagon General Store in Torrey around 3:00 and J went in to pick up some milk.
We headed south out of town on UT-12. We turned east on the Burr Trail Road in Boulder around 4:25 and ...
We stopped after going a mile or so to check our email one last time before heading into the boonies.
We resumed heading east and started looking for a good place to boondock.
We found a nice place with good solar-electric potential and even a Verizon Wireless National Access signal! The spot wasn't as level as I thought it was, and it took a while to get the RV mostly level using our Lynx Levelers. I left in the Jeep around 6:15 to try to find something to photograph at sunset.
The clouds had dissipated, so I just explored the nearby area.
I returned to the RV around 6:30. I set up the grill and started it heating and then tilted the solar-electric panels.
We had dinner around 7:15 of the grilled flatiron steak with Teriyaki Marinade and Grilled Squash, and I must say they were grilled to perfection.
After dinner, I put away my laundry then did some computer work.
